Eligibility
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk 2025 examination, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Calculation Date: As of July 1, 2025
- Date of Birth: Candidates must have been born between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004.
2. Educational Qualification:
- Required Degree: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Proficiency: Working knowledge of computers is essential.
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the state or union territory for which they are applying.
3. Nationality:
- Must be a citizen of India.
4. Other Criteria:
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should have studied the local language of the state or union territory at the 10th or 12th standard level.

In the latest update by IBPS, IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute 190 questions that need to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Sections used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute 50 questions that need to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes.
